Yes - you can and should style the sofa in your living room. Taking the time to think about details like throws and pillows can make a big difference in the overall vibe of the space. Come along as we go through some quick styling tips to help you make the most of your sofa.
#1. You need throw pillows and blankets.
A good outfit is to accessories as a sofa is to throw pillows and cozy blankets. You can't really have one without the other. Not to mention the instant comfort they add! Sure, you may have a chic sofa but it will look flat without the proper accessories. Add throws and blankets to instantly upgrade the look and feel of your space.

#2. Add texture and pattern.
To offset the solid color of your sofa, add texture and pattern to give dimension. The beauty of texture is that all textures work seamlessly together to add interest to a space; you can never have too much!

#3. Change up the sizes and shapes.
Whoever said that every throw pillow has to be a square? We need to talk! Every shape, size and color of pillow is welcome here. Utilizing small, tall, square, and round shapes will make for a well balanced sofa.

#4. How does it look and feel with the rest of the space?
This sofa has a great color scheme and expresses a clear style. The accessories work well with the natural boho style in the rest of the room. Make sure to consider the overall feel and design style you're trying to achieve in the entire room before styling a sofa. You don't want to end up with a beautifully styled sofa that doesn't vibe well with the rest of the space.
